RARE EARLY ORIGINAL VERMONT ARTIST SABRA JOHNSON FIELD BLUE FLAG WOODCUT PRINT
Rare early original color woodcut print by the title 'BLUE FLAG' done by Vermont artist Sabra Johnson Field. The woodcut print is one of her earlier works as it is signed by her as Sabra Johnson rather than Sabra Field.
The print bears a beautiful purple iris surrounded by uplifting continuous verse as follows: "I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My Meditation of him shall be sweet." The print is numbered 48 of an edition of 50 produced.
Approximate print dimensions are 10" x 10" (mat opening) and 14" x 14" frame size.
The print is in excellent condition with no condition issues and no discoloration.
